January Is Get Organized Month--Oops!

If January slipped away before you could grab hold of it, why not start now? Anytime is a good time to get organized. The library has books on all kinds of organization, from clutter-busting to spam-busting, time management to money management, meal planning to estate planning.

No time to read a book? Try the web! Naturally orderly and formerly disorganized people alike want to spread the word that order is within your grasp.

FlyLady lived in CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) until she resolved to keep her kitchen sink clear of dishes.

Sandra Felton shares what worked for her at Messies Anonymous.

organizedhome.com's web site looks clean and organized. It offers lots of free printable tools to help you put your house in order.

Still looking for the approach that might work for you? Try LifeOrganizers.com, OnlineOrganizing.com, or Get Organized Now!.

To find a professional organizer or become one, the National Association of Professional Organizers can get you started.

Up until now, American citizens could present a government issued ID when returning from Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean. Travelers who fail to bring their passports will face time consuming security screenings

Tax Forms and Information

Beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2007, and continuing as we receive them, the library will make available free copies of the most requested preprinted tax forms and publications. You can also photocopy forms or print them from the Internet if we do not have copies.

The library subscribes to the Federal Tax Guide, a two-volume looseleaf service published by Commerce Clearing House, which explains income and other types of federal tax law. We also own J. K. Lasser’s Your Income Tax and other popular guides.
