As You Mouse Potatoes Know, Google is a Verb

Each year Merriam-Webster surveys the changes in our wonderfully adaptive language, English, and selects “new words” to add to the new edition of their Collegiate Dictionary. Among the words in this years list is the verb google. Merriam-Webster, who is celebrating their 200th anniversary, offers a larger sample of these “new words” and some background on the selection process on their Web site.
