TODAY IS NATIONAL GAMING DAY@ YOUR LIBRARY

Today is the first National Gaming Day @ Your Library. Libraries all over the country are providing opportunities to play various types of games--electronic, RPG, card, and board. Hasbro has donated a copy on the game Pictureka! to every public library. There is to be an attempt to

use the game to try to set our benchmark record for the most number of people playing the same boardgame on the same day.
Everyone is welcome to come to Youth Services to participate. The game is for ages "6 to 106".

Youth Services has chess and checkers games to play in the library, too. There is also a varied selection of board games available to play in Adult Services--from Battleship to Trivial Pursuit, and more. Electronic games for PC's, Wii systems, Playstation 2 and 3, and for XBox 360 are available to be checked out from Youth Services as well.
