ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, June 16, at 7 p.m., Rich Szatkowski from the Homelands Improvement Show will present the program Save on Energy Costs!. Pick up some useful tips for conserving energy and saving money at home and for driving. Register online.. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Several Computer Classes are scheduled for this week:
Internet Basics--for those new to computers to learn about toolbars, urls, and hyperlinks
Monday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m. (waiting list)
Thursday, June 19, at 9:30 a.m. (openings)
Windows Explorer--create files and folders to organize your PC
Thursday, June 19, at 2:30 p.m. (waiting list)
All participants must be able to use a computer mouse. Register online; class size is limited.
Registration for the Summer Reading Program, BINGO is the Name-O, is ongoing. Sign up at the Adult Services Reference Desk.
YOUTH SERVICES:
Summer storytimes and programs all begin this week.
On Mondays, all the programs are for babies and preschoolers:
Book Babies, 9:30-9:50 a.m.--ages 6-18 months with an adult
Lapsit, 10-10:20 a.m.--ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years with adult
Summer Tales, 10:30-11 a.m.--ages 2 1/2 to 4 years
No registration is necessary for any of these; just drop in.
Tuesdays will have:
Summer Storytime--ages 4-6 years
10-10:30 a.m
2-2:30 p.m.
(no registration required)
Summer Science--2nd grade and up
11 a.m.
1 p.m.
Both of these classes required advanced registration and are now full.
Wednesdays will have Family Storytime and Craft--for all ages--from 7-7:45 p.m. this is a drop in program; no registration.
During the day on Thursdays, various craft programs have been scheduled. All of them require registration. All ages are welcome, but 2nd graders and younger must come with an adult. This week the craft is Bug Crafts:

3 p.m. (openings)
There is a storytime Thursday evenings, Twilight Tales, for ages 6 months to 2 1/2 years with an adult. No registration needed.
This week, on Friday, June 20, at 2 p.m., Young Adults in grades 6-12 are invited to a program called Fancy Feet: Decorate Your Flip-Flops. Bring your own flip-flops and we'll provide supplies to make them memorably fancy. Register online. There were still a couple of spots open as of Saturday.
