LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JUNE 2-8
Beginning Monday, June 2, the Library will have a new format for audio books available for checkout--Playaways. They will be found in both Adult and Youth Services. Lists of the (limited at this time) available titles can be found in the appropriate departments. Patrons will have to provide their own headphones for health reasons.
ADULT SERVICES:
The Morning Book Group will be meeting on Tuesday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. They will be discussing Lying Awake by Mark Salzman--a cloistered nun discovers her inspirational visions (which have fueled her mystical, spiritual poetry) are caused by epilepsy. For more information call Chris Mika at extension 271.
YOUTH SERVICES:
Online registration for programs scheduled during the Summer Reading Program has begun. Just click on the event in the online calendar and fill out the appropriate forms. Don't wait, as programs are filling up already.
The Summer Reading Program will begin on Monday, June 9--both in Adult and Youth services. First day registrations may get a special treat.
