From 4-7 p.m. on Monday, August 27, Dr. Raymond O'Hara will be available for analyses of potential or existing foot problems, including heel and ankle pain, hammertoes, bunions, fungal infections, and more. To make an appointment, call Alexian Connects at 1-866-ALEXIAN (253-9426).
On Tuesday, August 28, the computer class on the Heritage Quest Ancestry databases will be held at 2 p.m. Learn how to use these online databases to research family history and genealogy. Register at the Reception Desk; participants must be able to use a computer mouse.
NOTE: The Library will be closed on Sunday, September 2, and Monday, September 3, for the Labor Day Holiday.

ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, August 20, Dr. Polisky, dermatologist, will present the program Not So Extreme Makeover at 7 p.m. Non-surgical treatments for improving one's appearance will be discussed. Register at the Reception Desk.
On Monday, August 20, the Computer Class Internet Basics will be taught at 9:30 a.m.--for patrons will little or no experience with the Internet who can get started by learning about URL's, toolbars, and hyperlinks. Attendees must be able to use a computer mouse. Register at the Reception Desk; class size is limited.

ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, August 13, at 7 p.m., in the Large Meeting Room, the film Because I Said So, starring Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, will be shown. This is a comedy involving a meddling mom trying to find a husband for her youngest daughter. Tickets can be obtained at the Reception desk.
YOUTH SERVICES:
On Saturday, August 18, the Art Bus will be in the parking lot, providing art opportunities for all ages--preschoolers still need a grown-up with them--using recycled materials, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No registration required, just "drop in".

ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, August 6, at 7 p.m., Interior Designer Mary Beverly will present the program Staging Your Home to Live In or Sell. Curb appeal, appealing entryways, focal points for rooms, and decluttering will be among the topics covered. Register at the Reception Desk.
On Tuesday, August 7, a bus trip is scheduled to go to Shipshewana, Indiana, in the heart of Amish Country. Visits to the Deutsch Kase Haus (fresh cheese), Riegsecker's Marketplace (handicrafts and collectibles), the Bluegate Restaurant, and the famous outdoor Flea Market are planned. The bus will leave at 7 a.m. and will return by 7:30 p.m. Tickets (for $66) can be obtained from the Reception Desk.
Also on Tuesday, Auguat 7, the Morning Book Group is scheduled to meet at 10:30 a.m. to discuss James Patterson's Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. For more information, call Chris Mika at extension 271.
YOUTH SERVICES:
The Creative Writing Workshop continues on August 11, 18, and 25.
Participants in the Youth Summer Reading Program can still report and receive their prizes, although some prizes are no longer available. Also, don't forget to check to see if you've won a weekly raffle prize.
