Tonight, October 2, America Crime Fight will present a program at 7 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room called Staying Safe in a Dangerous World. Learn how to stay safe at home and away from home, in parking lots, and on the streets, how to avoid street crime, what to do when your car breaks down, and how to protect yourself from an attacker. Register at the Reception Desk.
On Tuesday, October 3, the Morning Book Group will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Library to discuss Sebastian Junger's The Perfect Storm For more information call Adult reference, Ext. 271 or 272 and ask for Chris.
On Friday, October 6, a bus tour will be leaving at 9:30 a.m. (returning at 6:30 p.m.) for a trip to the historic Germantown, Wisconsin. Tour museums, "authentic" villages, gift shops, and enjoy lunch and musical entertainment at the Bavarian Inn in Glendale. Tickets are available at the Reception Desk for a reasonable cost.
