ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, September 18, at 7 p.m., in the Large Meeting Room, Dr. David Schafer will present the program Youth and Sports Injuries. Diagnosis and treatment of injuries in teens and children as well as preventive strategies and proper training techniques will be discussed. Register by calling Alexian Connects at 1-866-ALEXIAN (253-9426).
YOUTH SERVICES:
Storytimes are continuing [see previous post].
On Thursday, September 21, Johnette Downing will present her award-winning interactive musical program, Boogie Woogie Bugs at 7:00 p.m. Listen to or sing along with the "creepy crawly" songs of her bug band. For all ages, although preschoolers must come with an adult. No registration or tickets needed.
For two consecutive Saturdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting this coming Saturday, September 23, a Babysitting Clinic will be conducted for children aged 10-16. There is a fee of $10 to cover an accompanying book and other materials. The class is limited to 25. Register and pay at the Youth Services Desk.
