LIBRARY HAPPENINGS MAY 1-7

ADULT SERVICES:
On Monday, May 1, at BOTH 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room, a special program, Identity Theft/Cash Stash, will be given by a representative of the Illinois State Treasurer's Office. The two-part presentation will first cover identity theft protection practices, credit bureau information, and reporting identity theft. Then an opportunity will be given for participants to find out if they have unclaimed assets in the Illinois financial system. Register at the Reception Desk.

The Morning Book Group is scheduled to discuss The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokaw. The group will meet at the Sheila Ray Senior Center on Tuesday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. Call Chris Mika in Adult Services (ext. 271) for more information.

YOUTH SERVICES:
On Wednesday, May 3, there will be a program for Young Adults, grade 6 through High School, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. called Get Down with Duct tape. Attendees will be able to use duct tape to make a wallet and flip-flops. A special Mystery Treat will be provided. Register now in Youth services.

The annual Mother's Day Drop-In Craft will be held this year on Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Although participants can come at any time within the time given, we ask that they register at the Youth Reference desk so adequate supplies may be purchased. For Preschoolers and up, along with an adult if necessary.
